Dar-Es-Salaam Youth Council is a platform established to inform/discuss issues related to the youth in the city of Dar-Es-Salaam. Participants of this group should be between the ages of 15-37, however anyone is welcomed to contribute.
DSM-YC has not been registered by the government, however, upon the success of this council, we plan to register... it so it can be recognized by the government. If this group reaches its target of 1,000 members, or 350 active members who contribute to the topics concerning the youth, we will so register it.
Topics of concern should be anywhere from poverty, corruption, diseases, child labor, schools and education, drugs etc.
DSM-Youth Council is NOT affiliated with any political party, thought its members are not stopped to join or participate in any political parties outside the Youth Council's activities
